NTI and HTP Brand Gas Boilers Recalled Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Fire, Carbon Monoxide (CO) Poisoning and Impact Hazards; Manufactured by Ariston, formerly NTI Boilers
NTI and HTP brand residential gas boilers in the FTVN, TFTN, and EFTU model series are recalled. The condensate dish can crack during delayed ignition, letting unburned gas build up and ignite, which can detach the front cover and cause fire, carbon monoxide poisoning, or impact injuries to consumers. Consumers should check the rating plate on the left side of the boiler to see if their model and serial number are included.
